My other musical oddities

I enjoy rather a lot of stuff that most people haven't heard of. I'll try not to be overwhelming and post too many at once.

Tom Lehrer
Grammar lessons - ly
New Math
Irish Ballad
Elements Song
Many more if you want, on youtube.

Anna Russel
Opera Lessons

Canadian Brass
Jazzed up Bach
Pachebel

Swingle

As many of you know, I am EXTREMELY fond of the Swingle Singers.
Of course, as I'm learning, when you enjoy something that you think no one else has heard of (which happens to me a lot) check youtube.

1812 (alternate 1812)

There are a lot of other examples of swingle singing on youtube, but they all appear to be the style or arrangements done by other groups.

USB Drives

PI found this link of crazy USB drives. I'm a fan of the teddy bear one. Any other votes?

In other news, this guy is made out of rubber!

Political Compass

Apparently, as if no one knew this, I'm very right wing libertarian.

If anyone wants to take the quiz, it can be found here.

Stupid Cat

For all of you who enjoy stories about our demon kitty, he's apparently feeling particularly stupid today.

PI was in the bathroom and the cat tried to jump to the toilet from the sink. Apparently he didn't look, 'cause the toilet lid was up.

The cat doesn't much like being wet.

Photo Albums

For those of you who keep losing the link *cough*pm*cough*, and those of you I just haven't had a chance to send the link to, I have put a couple of photo albums online. They're likely to change regularly as I have limited space, and you're more than welcome to save any pics you want as long as you don't claim they're yours, etc. There are 1 or 2 that aren't mine, and I'll label them when I catch them. Enjoy!

Mummenschanz

I was watching the Muppets and I was reminded of a group I haven't done much about since I was a kid and things were harder to find. Mummenschanz are an experimental theatre group from Switzerland. Here are a couple of examples of their stuff. Anyone know where I can get a copy of their DVDs in Canada w/o importing them?
