Baby has arrived and is now 10 days old. We have discovered that, although breast feeding is natural that doesn't make it easy. Other than that, we're doing quite well.
We had to put the cat down on Friday. He had declined extremely quickly over that day. See Phalse's blog for details. There can never be another cat like him. He was the strangest animal I've ever had the pleasure to meet...and I've met some weird ones. I hope he's happy, wherever he is.

NEWS
Hi everyone! So...it's been a couple of months since I've last posted...but they've been exciting...and I've spent most of them sleeping. Here's the reason:

Exciting Summer!
I've now had a month at my job and am loving it :) The staff is great, I'm doing what I want to be doing, it's lots of fun, etc. Last week was a bit silly, but I had a nice break this weekend w/ the long weekend and next week is IFLA, so I should be fine for a while!
Went to the same awesome concert as PM and MT.
PI and I signed a lease on Sat, so we'll be getting around to moving in the near future. That should be fun :P We'll have much more space and it's PERFECT for getting to work.
E, T, e, and A were here from BC last week and we had a good time celebrating mom's birthday as well as Mrs. H's 90th! We also went for dinner, played w/ e, etc. and generally caught up.
J and J are here from Aus and we went to the zoo today! PI and I showed J2 around the city a bit yesterday and had some fun. We also went geo-cashing yesterday, which was fun. We'd never done that before.
REALLY looking fwd to N&D's wedding on Fri!!!
Generally, life is exciting...but then, it always is!

Waiting for Twins
We're still waiting for the twins to arrive and are getting very excited. They are now 6 lbs, 3 oz and 6 lbs, 9 oz which is really big for twins! Average weight is 5 lbs, 3 oz. 12 Days left to go until they're taken out regardless of what they think :D
Since the last post, we've been to a concert by one of Bear's coaches from last year, thrown a party, made our own pasta and 3 sauces including pesto (which was very exciting), picked up more wedding presents, had dinner with IT.2, been to a concert put on by PM, MY, SS, and co. which we enjoyed very much, spent some time at Nuit Blanche, started stripping the varnish off a shelf at BR's that is going to become our bar, had lunch with high school teachers, finished a paper, started 2 more, and gotten our wedding photos back from the photographer (they're excellent :D)
